Post mortem angiography
At the Center, we developed a reliable and reproducible method to perform post-mortem arterial and/or venous angiography, providing excellent vascular detail, better visualization of solid organ injury, and precise localization of hemorrhage. The technique uses a mixture of Iodinated contrast and PEG (Polythene Glycol), pumped into the vascular system by a modified heart lung machine, via femoral arterial and venous catheters.
